CAFO adheres to all Namibian Laws and Policies, including key operating principles under Namibia’s Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare (MGECW), and its specific activities link closely to the Ministry which indicates that all orphans and vulnerable children must be registered with the MGECW for social welfare grants.

The Church Alliance for Orphans is also involved in inter-organizational training and planning activities, in the National OVC Permanent Task Force.
