WELCOME TO CAFO

Young BoyThe Church Alliance for Orphans (CAFO) is Namibia's national interfaith networking organization that is affiliated with the Council of Churches in Namibia (CCN). CAFO is devoted to serving the needs of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) by strengthening, empowering and encouraging local churches and other faith-based organizations in Namibia to provide holistic care to needy OVC, so that they may develop resilience and ability to cope with challenges ahead.

Latest News

The New Partners Initiative, launched in 2005 on World AIDS Day, is a $200 million program created under the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief to fund work with new partners, including community and faith-based organizations which implement HIV/AIDS prevention and care activities in the 15 Emergency Plan focus countries. The Church Alliance for Orphans is proud to be a prime NPI-partner. The successful work of CAFO was recently recognised in a success story on the NPI-website.
